Further Information on TERM 4.

TERM 4 differs from the previous three, with lessons structured around categorised question types. Students will be taught targeted strategies and systematic approaches for each type, providing extensive exposure to the various ways questions can be presented and equipping them to tackle problems with purpose and experience.

How Does Precision Work Online?

1. Weekly Live, Two-Hour Lessons led by our Mathematics Specialists.

Each week, our maths specialists guide students through the topic by teaching important skills and question types, with plenty of chances for active participation.

2. Weekly Online Assessments with Detailed Solutions

Students receive a mix of multiple-choice, short-answer, and extended-response questions based on the week’s learning, accompanied by detailed written worked solutions.

A math exam question with a diagram of two intersecting lines forming a triangle, with given angles and expressions involving x. The question asks for the value of x, with multiple choice options: 40, 44, 50, 45, 52. There is a timer in the top right corner showing 17 minutes and 55 seconds remaining.
Notes with mathematical explanation about the angle sum of a straight line being 180 degrees, including two methods for solving for x in an algebraic equation.

3. Evaluation of Student Progress.

  • Weekly exam quizzes for homework, reinforcing the topics covered each week.

  • Mid-term AND End-of-term Selective Mock Exam – conducted online in multiple-choice format via our portal.

The first question asks about replacing a pronumeral in an algebraic expression, with the answer '-2' selected. The second question involves dividing chocolates into boxes, with '72' chocolates in each box selected.

4. Feedback call with Principal.

Each student at Precision has two mentorship meetings involving the parent, student, and our principal, providing a dedicated space to discuss academic progress and development.
