Year 4 April Selective Holiday Classes

What is it?

Precision Mathematics Academy offers an exclusive 6-day intensive course designed to give students a final competitive edge before their selective exam.

Classes are taught personally by our principal — only offering ONE class with a strict maximum of 9 students — ensuring every student receives focused, high-quality attention throughout the program.

Overall goal of the course:

While strong math skills matter, scoring well on the selective exam requires more than just knowledge — it requires strategy.

This course equips students with the exact techniques needed to perform at their best on exam day. They'll know precisely when to apply the right strategy and how to adapt it across different question types — turning preparation into performance, and performance into results.

The outcome: sharper time management, greater confidence, and the ability to tackle any question the exam throws at them.

1st Hour: Strategy Revision

Every question in our strategy sessions is carefully curated to reinforce and teach proven exam techniques. Whether or not a student attended our term classes, this course covers all core strategies from the term - plus new ones - ensuring every student leaves fully exam-ready.

2nd Hour: Selective Mock Exam

Students are given the opportunity to sit a selective mock exam covering all possible question types and topics that may appear in the selective exam. They are able to re-attempt it as many times as they like and review the full worked solutions.
